The Legend of Success
In 1920, John Seccombe and his brother founded Slumberland in Manchester, UK with the intention of manufacturing beds of the highest quality. They therefore researched and designed bedding with consideration of orthopedic principles, together with meticulous production technology subject to rigorous compression set testing. In 1940, the greatest honour was bestowed upon them when they were awarded the British Royalÿ
Warrant of Quality by King George VI,
 and the company has continued to develop until the present day. For 100 years, we have gained experience in various fields and continuously researched the human anatomy and pressure distribution in order to produce the best mattresses for a high-quality sleep. We have now attained a new level of success with our advanced technology Linear Pocketed Posture Springing System. This state-of-the-art spring system is developed from the highly-efficient Posture Springing system to provide effective support during sleep in accordance with orthopedic principles.
Our attention to detail and continuous creation and development means that today we are trusted by more than 50 million customers in more than 40 countries throughout the world.
